France’s Sewing School offers a variety of sewing classes, specialty craft workshops, knitting classes in English and French. Since the year 2000, over 400 children and adults have taken classes with France.

Kids Classes
Classes for children and teenagers are held throughout the school year, with a maximum of 5 students per class to ensure as much individual attention as possible. France’s Sewing School is a bilingual school, with classes offered in both French and English.
France’s Sewing School teaches the Kids Sewing Company program. This program includes three levels and was developed here in British Columbia. The program takes the beginner sewer from basic pattern constructions and sewing techniques to advanced constructions and sewing techniques. It also includes easy-to-follow instructions for all levels. These books are yours to keep and are only available at France’s Sewing School. The cost of the books will be added to the registration fee ($30.00 for Part One book and $40.00 for Part Two).
All fabric, notions and/or threads must be supplied by the student during regular sessions that take place throughout the school year. A small collection of fabric is also available at the sewing school as well as basic supplies (notions, elastics, threads).

A $100.00 deposit is necessary to ensure a spot in the sewing class of your choice. Payments can be made in cash (in person) or by cheque. Please do not send cash by mail. Registration will not be considered without the full deposit. Please make all cheques payable to France Dorais.
